Up to the usual Panzerwrecks series' very high standard, co-authored by Lee Archer and retired Lt.Col. Dick Taylor, well respected authority on British armour. Superb photographs, as always, in large and clear format with some brilliant and unexpected images of lesser known vehicles, such as good closeups of Valentine AVLB's and 2 good close ups of one of the KO'd Fireflies from my father-in-law's wartime unit in Normandy. Superb selections and descriptions throughout. Very highly recommended.

It's the First time Panzerwrecks have done a British theme and hopefully the first of many.Technically it's not strictly all British as it includes Allied vehicles of all nations except American which is coming in a separate volume. As far as the vehicles go Sherman's make up about 50% of the books content from Europe and Italy. I would has preferred to have seen some allied vehicles from the North African conflict, hopefully we will see them in a later volume, overall I can't recommend this Panzerwrecks 28 enough.

I would have preferred more of the photographs to be of vehicles where they were knocked out, rather than collection points.
