“I am extremely disappointed in the ‘gift box’ that the present arrived in. I decided to pay the additional £5 at checkout, on top of the necklace AND delivery fees, to ensure that the necklace would be presented well in a quality box rather than just wrapped in paper. Instead, a cheap cardboard box arrived with the necklace in a paper envelope (see image). This is not what I was expecting. In previous years, I have always been willing to spend additional money for Oliver Bonas gift boxes as they were high quality suede grey jewellery boxes. However, the cardboard packaging that my gift arrived in was of extremely poor quality and certainly not worth the £5 cost. I have contacted customer services to request a refund for the gift box which I have not yet received a response too unfortunately.”

“The gift box is of good quality, but it was very large in comparison to the goods it was meant to hold, the ring disappeared in the packaging. To the point i didn't use the box so a waste of money.”

“I sent this to my girlfriend during lockdown, not only is it an amazing product, but the swift service and care taken was outstanding. I can't recommend enough to include a gift box, beautiful decoration that won me loads of points. And then the candle itself, W.O.W. My girlfriend loves it, and doesn't want candles from any other place. 10/10 quality and 10/10 service Thank you Oliver Bonas for making me a winner to my girlfriend even though I be with her.”

“I paid £5 for a gift box as I thought it would be a small jewellery box but it was about 6” square. I would have thought would be the standard box that would be sent without extra cost. Not very special at all. Very disappointed”
