“As expected this product is bitter to the taste due to the triterpene content. What I didn't expect was that it wasn't water-soluble; it is a bit gritty when mixed with water and it hangs on the glass, so its hard to take that way without wasting some. The bitterness may also be a challenge in the longer term. I ended up putting the product into capsules because it seemed easier to take with less waste. Its worth noting that this is from Reishi spore, not from the mushroom itself; it is potentially better for increasing jing and it has a higher triterpene content so useful as part of a cancer strategy, but it does lack polysaccharides, also beneficial, found in the regular reishi extract. I am not sure if this product is worth the extra money, so will have to wait and see.”

“This must be my 6th or 7th bottle of Zen, its been a few months since my last jar and this one doesn't appear to taste as bitter as my previous experience, not sure whether that's a good or bad thing, time will tell”

“I can’t testify to this product in regard to it’s medicinal qualities as it’s too bitter for me to take. I just can’t get past the taste even though I’ve tried many ways to take it. Sadly it’s not for me.”
