Defiantly the best phone holder for the ND easy to fit no screws or tap to hold it in place so can be removed leaving no marks. It looks as if it’s built in and not an afterthought.

I've used Brodit on several cars over the years but the ND version just didn't work for me. Ordered this and it arrived next day - great service guys. Watched the video on LHD version and fitting was simple. Looks like a MAZDA part not an addon. Rated 5 star after fitting and short 5 mile drive. Off to Oeak Dustrict next week - should be a decent test.

After many attempts to find a practical phone holder for an MX5 at last I have succeeded. The picture on the site does not do it justice. This item is an aluminium base which has the plastic phone holder mounted on top. The base clips over the left edge of the centre air vent and matches the dash well enough to make it look like a Mazda part. There is also a locking wire which is hard to explain but a Google search finds video of the installation which is clearer. Installation took about two minutes and it involves no mods to the car and nothing stuck on anywhere. In use it is rock solid and mounts the phone at a perfect angle for face recognition to work while driving. I use an iPhone XS Max and the positioning means there is no obstruction to the car screen and it is easy to reach phone buttons. Half metre phone cable provides neat link to the car socket.Although the base is secure and smart I am not so sure abut the phone holder itself which seems a bit flimsy but as it seems to fit on the base via a standard 4QF quick release which in turn it screwed in place using, what looks like, standard AMPS holes there are other phone holders around which should fit OK.
