We are pleased to now have in stock these 100% plug and play reversing camera kits courtesy of IL Motorsport in Germany. The camera has a 170 degree viewing angle and displays a very clear and full colour image on the centre display when reverse gear is engaged. The camera display offers a 720 x 480HD resolution and a 30fps frame rate, and can also be used when dark due to the night vision functionality. On the display you get distance reference grid lines and a centre line for easy parking. When fitted, the camera itself is very inconspicuous and can only be seen when crouching right down under the rear of the car. Being plug and play the installation of this kit is extremely easy, and even comes with a 22mm hole saw to drill the hole in the bumper for the camera. Click here for a very good fitting video!Fits all Mk4 models 2015> including the RF.Please Note: Although this kit is easy to fit, as the video shows much of the interior trim has to be removed. Although this may look daunting it too is surprisingly easy and as noted by several member of the team here, if our Operations Manager can fit one in less than 45 minutes then anyone can! Please also note, one thing the video doesn't show is that you must disconnect the cars battery before fitting the camera.

The reversing camera is an excellent piece of kit and as good or better than the OE reversing camera on my Toyota Auris. It was straightforward to fit but the amount of trim that has to be removed is daunting! I looked at your suggested on-line DVD but found one from Brandon of æFlying MiataÆ on YouTube. His explanation and procedure was excellent and the camera work first class, probably one of the best tutorial DVDÆs I have seen for a long time. Watching that a couple of times made the instal go smoothly and the whole job was finished in a couple of hours.

I took my time installing the camera and it took me four and a half hours. I could easily have completed the task in a shorter time, but I wanted to take great care routing and securing the additional cabling to ensure that it didnÆt rattle subsequently. The camera works very well, it is a minor irritation that the coloured distance markings donÆt correctly reflect the width of the car, but thatÆs my only negative comment. This installation together my recent upgrading of the infotainment system to permit CarPlay/Android Auto functionality have really improved my 2017 RF. I wholeheartedly recommend this upgrade.

Complete waist of money, time, after 3 hours of work installing the camera, it works but doesnÆt show the warning lines and all looks other way round left side on right side and right side on left side, sent an e mail to the seller and no response at all, completely disappointing.

I didn't install this myself, (why would I, when I have several friends who work in the trade and are happy to do the job?!) but it looks really good so far. The display is very sharp and, most importantly, the wife looked and it and she was impressed, so it must be good!

Great addition to the car. Was really easy to fit following the YouTube video instructions (can be found on one of the reviews here) It didn't take me quite 45mins but I was done and complete in just over an hour. Fitment and display is great, nice layout and colours and the camera doesn't look awful on the back. you could argue its always been there. Well worth the money and effort to install this reversing camera if you're looking for one.

Cracking piece of kit and as long as you prepare and take your time it’s fairly straight forward. Follow the videos on YouTube and go through the passenger side when threading the cable. Tie wraps make the job neater and a wire coat hanger helps for threading the cable into the boot.Good luck and don’t panic.
