Fitted these to my otherwise standard 1995 1.8. The shocks (standard Mazda) were replaced a year earlier so kept those and fitted the new springs. Car looks MUCH better without that huge gap between tyres (15 inch rims) and arch. BUT, rear bottoms out/bangs when hitting bumps in the road, even at 60mph on the relatively smooth A12 dual carriage way. I now drive with my eyes on upcoming bumps rather than looking further ahead. Dont know if there is something wrong or something else needs replacing at the rear but it's a very noticeable bang and the roads around here are no worse than anywhere else. On a trackday last week (on smooth surface) everything was fine. Debating re-fitting the original springs as a leisurely drive to the coast last weekend with the missus had her paranoid that the numerous bangs meant something was about to break/fall off !

These are FANTASTIC. Had a set of MX5Parts trim springs on my KYB AGX shocks and thought that set up was very good.Fitting the Eibach`s has just put my mk1 on another level with those dampers. Sooooo much more of a better ride quality without any lose of handling/road holding. If anything BETTER road holding as the car is so planted even on really bumpy bends. Very Very Good Springs Indeed. Just Love the way the seating coils are ground flat to give a 360 degree perch contact area. Top manufacturing by this well respected company. Think these would work great even on standard shocks.

Bought these to replace the broken trim springs that lasted about 4 years. The ride height is about the same as the trim springs but the eibachs are much firmer. I'm finding the ride much too harsh for everyday driving, the car feels like it's trying to shake itself to pieces on all but the smoothest roads. Yes it does corner well with these fitted but the deterioration in ride quality ruins the car. I have had a 4 wheel alignment done but this didn't improve matters. As soon as I can afford to and I can face another day working on the car these are coming off.

Great product from eibach, my 93 miata now looks great. But one piece of advice, don't fit it with the standard shock absorbers (mines were pretty old ones) ! I've tried and my car handling was like a 4L... Always bouncing !When i've fit it with kyb agx everything went nice ! Well balance, a pleasure to drive and what a look !

BUY THESE!I don't normally write a review for anything, but I cannot believe how good these are. Cornering is smooth and the car sticks to the road like it's on rails :)Amazing value for what they are: I've been researching for a while now about getting coilovers to lower the car and for better handling.... don't bother, just get these and put them on your standard dampers for a lowered and sporty look with amazing handling. They're cheaper than ebay coilover sets and probably do a 100times better job!Well done Eibach! For fitting reference: short (VA) = front, long (HA) = rear

Ordered on Thursday, parts arrived Friday morning (excellent faultless service from you guys), fitted on Saturday. Brilliant springs; no bounce-bounce or crash-crash. I'm very happy.

I bought this kit a while ago, one year, perhaps. I often use it on track days and hard cornering, aswell as daily driver. Yes, it stiffens it alot, but on the overall it makes it worth...Big time!
