Some people have pointed out that the straps stretch; when this happens, I just tie a knot. Eventually, the straps will tear and the cover will either rip right down the centre (the left and right sides literally came apart in a storm) or it will lose its waterproofing, but it's still a good cover because it is quick and easy to put on and take off - especially when it's too cold and wet to spend time fiddling about. It flies up off the car like a kite in high winds, but this has the effect of giving your car a blow-dry and my mohair roof is as good as new after three years of using these covers. Tip: Just make sure, when you're removing it, to fold it the same way so you won't be standing around in the rain trying to figure out which is the front or back. I keep the "ears" (wing-mirror covers) and front strap folded together, then roll the rest of the cover, wrap the back strap around it and stuff it into its carrier bag with the size tag showing. I have just realised my spare cover is no longer waterproof so I'm buying another one.

These covers aren’t really suitable for outdoor use. The elastic goes slack within a few months and after a year the fabric starts tearing. We're on our third in six years and it would have failed completely if not for except for repairs with a sewing machine. Also had to reproofed it.

Great Service and support from the team, I phoned for some advice as to which Cover, decided on the Half cover, its working great. We Have had some days of heavy rain, keeping the roof and more dry, no codensation at all so far. Fitting is very simple and it comes in a handy plastic zipped bag. Its a good thing to also keep in the boot when going away on trips.. Very pleased

I've found that this is no better than the other two or three very similar products on the market. The elastic straps stretch quickly and the material rips easily. These covers are little use in the wind and last 2 to 3 years at most. After wearing out three of these types of cover I've now decided it is cheaper, easier and more effective to clean and reproof the soft top on a regular basis.

A premium price for a not so premium product.Surprised at how thin it was,and the elastic straps do not seem very substantial.Description says "A snug fit on Mk3 models".I did not find that at all, seems big in fact, certainly nothing like the fit in the picture on the website.Time will tell how well it lasts.

This will keep the bird muck and cat paws off it and its really easy to fit. It simply isn't waterproof and the condensation builds up inside.

I bought one of these about 2 years ago, it was fine and did the job which was to keep cats from ruining the soft top. Over time the elastic securing tapes became stretched but I knotted it to shorten it. Over the 2 years the material has deteriorated and finally the storm this weekend has ripped it in half. I am now going to buy a replacement one, because it is cheaper than having to buy cleaning kits and restorative fluid for the hood every 6 months or so.
