“This cover arrived next day. Delivery very good. But as for a cover PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.... I have been using a blue sheet from b&q held on with two straps across the hood has been working ok but looks poor so thought I would treat myself to a proper hood after two nights of rain my seats are wet roof wet so it is just a let down back to my blue sheet... Oh just to add it does fit very well so if the company could just make it water tight it would be good. But my advise would be do not buy...”

“My mk2.5 has been drenched in recent weeks so I purchased a half cover and its been on for the last few days when its been raining pretty much all the time. I looked underneath the cover and there was no condensation on the windows of the car as well as being lovely and dry.Should have bought one sooner.”

“This cover is easy to fit/ remove and I use it regularly as the car is parked on a steep hill overnight. It keeps most of the rain out but after a year the elastic straps are no longer elastic (otherwise four stars) and I have had to tie knots to shorten them to prevent the cover from flying off. Also useful on hot days when the roof is down to prevent gifts landing in the car from above!”

“I can't give more than 3 stars as the cover is 'one size fits all' ( and not specific to MX5) and it is a bit too big for the Mk1 so wind gets under and it flaps about . I'm concerned about paintwork damage from the cover itself and the straps”

“I bought this to keep the hood dry in winter and to stop the local cat from sleeping on the roof. It fits my Mk 3 launch edition perfectly and takes about 30 seconds to fit. It's so quick and easy I fit it every evening and just roll it up and put it in my boot each day. Very pleased with this product.”

“Got this to keep the water out of the car whilst hunting a hard top for my mk1 (soft top rain rail and rear window fubar-ed!) which it did. Only annoying niggle is it's a bit loose round the rear so when it was windy it didn't always keep the soft top 100% covered, but it did keep 99.9% of the rain out so I'm happy! Stayed in place even through the recent gales, so highly recommended from me.”
