Fantastic quality pedal cover set for the Mk1. Consists of a footrest, and three pedal covers made from aluminium in a brushed finish with an anti slip top. No need for drilling, the clutch and brake cover simply slide on in place of the original and the accelerator screws on using the existing holes in the pedal. These have been designed to be as close to the original size as possible, making them far easier to use than the usual "over sized" aftermarket pedal sets. They come nicely packaged with all the required fixings. Suitable for both left and right hand drive cars.
Fits all Mazda MX5 Mk1 models, 1989>1998 with manual gearbox only.
Please note: The large photograph showing the pedal set fitted is of a Mk2 version. The pedals are the same, but the foot rest in the Mk1 is a different shape.

“Can't fault the quality of the product. but as a lot of other reviewers mentioned get ready for sore thumbs and colorful language. Accelerator pedal was very easy just a bit fiddly with the small bolts included in set, dead pedal needs some pilot holes maybe use some self tapping screws like i did but very easy, and the brake and clutch pedal are something else (pro tip get someone with no nerve endings on their fingers). i found leaving the pedals in boiling hot water for a couple of minutes helped. overall very happy with the look and feel of the product and would recommend to a friend as long as i dont have to do the brake and clutch! if i can put them on anyone can!”

“Was just going to replace my worn pedals with the standard rubber ones but took the plunge on these. I believe my s-limited originally had alloy pedals but they are long gone. These really have lifted the interior and almost look OEM. Footrest and gas pedal easy, brake and clutch are a bit of a faff. A bit pricey but very good quality and a perfect fit.”

“These make a great addition to the car far better than the clumsy aftermarket ones that came with my import and lift the interior. Accelerator pedal is easy to fit and although it says no need to drill I made pilot holes for the footrest as has been said by others the brake and clutch pedals are a bit tricky I read reviews and watched some you tube and managed with a little fairy liquid and a lot of swearing. overall very happy at quality and price.”

“Nice item; gives a classic sports or aero look the cockpit.Fitting was easy enough. Accelerator and footrest are screw on so no probs. Clutch and brake are more of a challenge but went on well enough once I softened the rubber in hot water for a few mins and sprayed the pedals in Silicone Lube so the covers could move about and slip over the edges with Some pressure. Quite expensive for something you just stick your feet on but very nicely made, a good fit and do improve the appearance.”
