brought these springs and had them fitted with alignment the lowering side of the purchase wasn't obvious to me but the handling was must improved the car is a lot more responsive and drives like it should . Mx5 parts looked after me during the fitting at a good price .

Managed to pick these up with the Easter discount and fitted them over a weekend.I can't recommend them highly enough, bang for your buck it's probably the best modification you can make to your car.The difference in ride height is only 30mm but the 4x4 look has been banished. The ride comfort is pretty much unchanged as far as I can tell but the handling is utterly transformed. The car goes round corners like it's on rails now all the body roll has vanished.Suddenly my NC feels like my old NA used to.Very happy customer here.

If, like me, you sold your Mk2.5 and bought an early Mk3 - you may have been extremely disappointed with the handling. These Sports Springs transform a Mk3 so that it handles as well (or very nearly as well) as earlier cars. You do not need to change the shockers for this transformation. I had mine done at a garage so that the geometry could be professionally set up after the springs were fitted. In a thousand miles I've had only one instance of grounding out when negotiating a badly constructed speed hump at too high a speed. Better still, the car doesn''t wallow about on staight roads - a problem that made me feel queasy. A "MUST" buy!

These should have been fitted as standard.I was eager to get these fitted to get rid of the 4x4 look the car has however I was skeptical about how much difference it would make to the drive. These springs are........incredible. It took about 5 hours to fit these to my 1.8 56 plate in the back garden with a decent jack and some axle stands.Easiest way to do them is to loosen the top wishbone bolts away from the car and then drop the shock out as one whole unit and this means you get to do any spring compression away from the car. The rear is easier however you will need to disconnect the rear sway bar which takes a bit of time and care. There are no instructions with these springs but just so you know, the two marked VA are for the front and HA are for the back. The real trick to getting this install absolutely right is to not tighten up anything until the car is back on the ground under its own weight, otherwise you could end up with twisted bushes or the car higher than it was when you started.Upon these being fitted it's taken a few days for the height to fully settle and the car does not look ridiculous or barry-ied, it looks just right.Cornering has changed from wallowy and unpredictable to bang on with little body roll and the car doesn't skip over bumps and potholes like a stone across water any more.As for the ride, I'd say it's actually more comfortable than it was, the car rides flat and firm rather than bouncing 3 feet in the air when you drive over a leaf like it used to. It still clears speed bumps with little issue. All I need to do now is have the alignment and geometry reset but my mechanic told me to hang fire for a few hundred miles until everything settles. Do not hesitate to buy these. They're definitely worth it. Here is a picture of my MX5 post install (needs a clean) http://imgur.com/Ewp0Gd3

I spent months wondering if i should or shouldn't have the springs done and did it today. WOW, if you are considering it...DO IT. The car looks, feels and handles so much better, well worth the money.

I was quite perturbed to find the standard car unsettled by imperfect road surfaces in bends at speed. It tended to bounce a bit towards the outside of beds, and there was always a bit too much lift off oversteer. The new springs have transformed the car. It never feels any less than planted, neutral on all but the most aggressive lift off. Accelerating hard through even bumpy bends is a non-event, lending confidence and predictability to what was a bit of a wild and sometimes scary ride.Worth twice the price, and easy to do yourself if you just use your noggin and a bit of lateral thought. Ignore the 'lower balljoint' advice on some of the forums, pop off the inner bolts on the upper wishbone and it becomes an easy half hour per front corner task. The rears are a doddle and require no explanation from me.A great product - this is a no brainer, just DO IT!

I've got a 55 plate mk3 sport and had these installed makes such a difference to the way the car handles and performs especially in the corners also is less bouncy on the motor way, car sits 2cm lower all round since it already had the sports suspension from mazda so the car now looks the way it should with the tyres filling the arches.
