“Massive scam. Does not fit and if it does, it's because you popped out the mirror from its ball joint - in which case you cannot put it back in. Huge waste of money and will destroy your mirror.”

“I bought this to replace the old cover that had been on for 15 years and bubbled up on the side. Gave the reviews a read to glean the instructions. This definitely could do to come with a print out to save doing that but it's straight forward enough. -Do a dry fit first to check fitting-Start from the joint closest to the windscreen and move the cover up to the mirror-Use the primer first (open a window, it whiffs a bit)-Once it's on, give it a good grip for 30 seconds to feel for all the adhesive strips in placeSorted. Looks great!”

“Sadly this item doesn't fit, spent about 10 mins trying to fit it then 2hrs trying to get the mirror back together after I realised there was no chance, only took the mirror apart after reading another review.”

“Using all the helpful info from other users, I tried to fit this today and have now given up! IT DOES NOT FIT. I have bought many chrome pieces for my loved Roadster from you, and have always been pleased. I was so looking forward to complimenting the chrome wing mirrors with this. Very very disappointed. I even shaved a little off each side of the top slot, so now cannot even get a refund.Editors Note: Sorry to hear you have experienced problems fitting this item. As reflected in the product description, as long as the car you are fitting it to has an original glass mounted rear view mirror (early cars up to 1993 mirrors fixed to the header and were a different shape) then this should fit fine which is reflected in many of the other 5 star reviews. “Really easy it fit- took 5 minutes once I realised I needed to flick the little switch for night driving back to get it on and looks beautiful. Really, really pleased with it.”

“This cheaply made cover will not fit unless you pull the mirror apart at the ball joints I did this the cover then fitted but it was impossible to get the ball back in the socket in the process of trying to get it back in I broke the glass I then had to by another mirror which cost me £25 i tried to fit the cover to the replacement mirror on my work bench this resulted in the cover braking so I would not recommend this cover it\'s now in the bin and I am £46 worse off.Editors note: Sorry to hear of your troubles with fitting this product. “Purchased this years ago and never got round to fitting it, just found it out and thought i would give it a go ! In one word ...... BRILLIANT ...... a quick read of other peoples reviews on fitting and 5 mins later it's fitted and looks fantastic. Treat yourself to one, you wont regret it.”
