Not a pad for hard driving, these overheat pretty quickly and I never had much of an issue with the stock mazda pads. Bedded in well, no squeal, low dust, work fine from cold and ok price though. Bottom line: if you never drive the car hard they are a decent replacement, if you do look elsewhere.

Had a problem fitting these pads. With the piston depressed as far as possible could not assemble with both shims. Had to leave innerone out. Will have to fit it later.

Ordered these at 16.30hrs on a Thursday afternoon and they arrived in Northern Ireland at 14.15hrs on the Friday. Now that's what I call service.I fitted them that afternoon and they fitted with no problems. There is no fitting kit but I was able to reuse the rattle springs ok and put plenty of Copaslip on the back of the pads to stop them squealing / sticking. So far with 150 miles covered they are quiet and not a lot of brake dust. The improvement in the brakes is remarkable.Well pleased.

Absolute RUBBISH! EBC should be ashamed about putting their name to this product. The wear rate is unbelievably poor, evidence of this is the huge amount of dusting. After bedding my pads in for 1000 miles I undertook a track evening. 1.5 hours of track time and the pads needed replacing!! Now mx5parts say you should NOT track these pads and I can vouch for that. However, mx5parts to their credit replaced them free of charge. OEM would be a much better buy and do not see the wear rates I experienced..I also experienced excessive brake squeal from these pads, the sort of squeal that makes small children cup their ears when I brake near them!I need my handbrake adjusting once a month due to the excessive wear on the rears too. I will not be touching these (and my faith in any EBC product tbh) again.

Quite alarming \'green fade\' when new, even with fairly moderate use. OK on the road once past that stage. However, a track day at Colerne took them from new thickness to being ready for replacement. To their credit, they didn\'t fade, just vaporised. Whatever was on the car before (Textar branded) handled a day at Colerne and a day at Anglesey without anywhere near as much wear.Editors Note: Please be aware, as the description states, these pads are direct replacements for the original equipment. They were never designed to withstand high temperature track use. We do have a great range of Green, Red and Yellowstuff pads however, which were designed for just that purpose.

Got these after reading various recomendations and I have to say they are fine, fitted in an hour or so really pleased with the feel of the pads straight away. One thing to note and I'm not sure if it's the pads or not, could not get the grill type squeal plate back but I will put this back once the pads have gone down a touch.

Great delivery from MX5 Parts, no problem with fitting, baking power is good, but mine are noisy when gently braking (no noise when hard braking). With a convertible, any noise is unpleasant...

I need to replace my front pads, and i was thinking of purchasing the ebc kevlar pads, but on reading a review from a buyer in april this year, the pads he thought he was purchasing, were not even mentioned on the packaging.I also noticed that there were no comments from anyone at mx5parts as to his concerns. Can you advise me, so that i can make a decision. Regards.
