4.8 Rating 52 Reviews
Read MX5parts Reviews

After the success of the Mk1 & 2 kits, we are really pleased to now be able to offer these fantastic quality pedal cover sets for the Mk3/3.5. The kit consists of a footrest, and three pedal covers made from aluminium in a brushed finish with an anti slip top. These have been designed to be as close to the original size as possible, making them far easier to use than the usual "over sized" aftermarket pedal sets. They come nicely packaged with all the required fixings. They are available for both right and left hand drive cars, so please select which ones you need from the drop down box.
Fits all Mk3, Mk3.5 & 3.75 models, 2005>2015 with manual gearbox only.

Lovely pedals, awesome service from MX5 parts.Thought I'd share a few tips as some others have done. Clutch rest just screws on, doesn't need any drilling at all. Accelerator needs two holes drilled but then self-taping screws easy peasy - also comes with a metal tube/bolt which I didn't bother using. The rubber covers for clutch and brake are indeed troublesome. The easiest way I found was to put on the top edge of the cover first, with both top corners on, then slide two tyre levers (for bicycle tyres) under the sides and force the two lower corners on at the same time. Took me quite a few attempts but I found that much easier than trying to do by hand. I did try softening up the pedals in hot water (as someone on here suggested) but that made it more difficult (I think). Oh, and swear profusely. That definitely helps.

Arrived very promptly. Good quality but the impression given that they are easy to fit and require no drilling is not exactly correct, at least in the case of my 2012 1.8 SE Coupe. The clutch and brake pedal covers are reasonably straightforward, just remove the original pedal covers and replace with the new ones. Be warned, the new ones are a tight fit and you will need to use silicone spray or a similar lubricant to help ease them into place. I found a bit of gentle levering with a small bicycle tyre lever helped as did running a narrow punch around the flange which secures them onto the pedal. There were no pre-drilled holes in my accelerator pedal. Simply place the alloy item over the existing pedal (its a really good fit) and use the mounting holes in the alloy pedal as a template to drill the necessary holes. Secure with the small nuts and bolts provided and be sure to use the spacer on the upper (longer) nut and bolt. The footrest is secured using the 3 self tapping screws provided. Again simply place it over the existing item and use the alloy footrest mounting holes as a template to drill three VERY SMALL holes that the self tappers can bite into.Once fitted they look terrific. Another bonus - I think the fine throttle control e.g. when setting off is improved by fitting the alloy pedal.

I had a hard time fitting the brake and clutch covers, the footrest and accelerator covers where easy to fit. Did not need any instructions as it was easy to see what went where etc. A nice finish to the interior when fitted. Again 1st class service from the MX-5 team, thank you. Regards, Eddie.

The pedals look good now and have more grip on them. I used hot warter and washing up liquid to get them over the pedals also pre-drilled the foot rest with a 1.5 mm drill.

Slipped on a treat with a little fairy liquid and top down fitting. Did not realise they were caps for rest and accelerator but soon twigged and they were a good tight fit. Arrived as expected from MX5parts. Noticed lower stars were not in english, are left hand drive harder to fit?
