Aluminium Pedal Cover Set Mazda MX5 Mk3/3.5/3.75 Reviews

4.8 Rating 53 Reviews
Read MX5parts Reviews

After the success of the Mk1 & 2 kits, we are really pleased to now be able to offer these fantastic quality pedal cover sets for the Mk3/3.5. The kit consists of a footrest, and three pedal covers made from aluminium in a brushed finish with an anti slip top. These have been designed to be as close to the original size as possible, making them far easier to use than the usual "over sized" aftermarket pedal sets. They come nicely packaged with all the required fixings. They are available for both right and left hand drive cars, so please select which ones you need from the drop down box.
Fits all Mk3, Mk3.5 & 3.75 models, 2005>2015 with manual gearbox only.

Received as a Christmas present (asked for of course) and would have given 5 stars on opening the box agreeing with most previous comments about the looks and feel. However after installing the footrest and accelerator pedals with no difficulty I have been unable to install the clutch & brake. I think I have tried all of the tips from previous reviewers (heat, washing up liquid etc.) but all to no avail. I simply can't get the beggars on hence only 2 stars. Will probably try again in the summer when I might have got some strength back.

Just bought a set of these - arrived within 24 hours and before the money went out of my account!Accelerator pedal and footrest are a doddle, took about 5 mins.Brake and clutch are a bit more of a faff soaking in them in really hot water for 10 mins or so and using some washing up liquid on the cover and the pedal did the trick.Full set fitted in half an hour and they look (and feel) great.

Maybe one of the best visual improvements for the mk3 interior. Received them very fast from mx5parts as usual and in the begining i was having issues fitting the clutch and the brake pedal but then an idea came. I used my heat gun to heat and give them extra flexibility and boom, in 10 minutes i had both fitted. Very nice upgrade.

Super fast delivery as usual from MX5 parts. These look the business when fitted. Took about 20mins to fit, with not much swearing while fitting the brake and clutch pedals due to the use of washing up liquid as stated in other reviews.

Good set of pedals that lighten up the footwell. They look very good once fitted, however you must buy a set of cheap tyre levers to fit clutch and brake pedal. Couldn't do it at first, then bought levers and job was done in 10 mins.

Ist class delivery and easy to fit used a bit of washing up liquid on the brake and clutch pedals and with a bit of a jiggle they sliped on easy. Foot plate just drilled small pilot holes for the screws and the same for the excelerator pedal, all done in 15 mins

This is an excellent set of pedal covers. Fitting took less than 30 minutes and noproblems were experienced with either the clutch or brake pedal.I used a very small amount of my wife's washing-up liquid OUCH ! sorry, OURwashing-up liquid (pomegranate and honeysuckle is the current fragrance of choiceapparently) using a small brush to get into the groove and starting at the bottom pushing up and eased on the left side. Massage up and right and with the help of anelectrical screw-driver ease the rubber over. With the bottom and two sides firmly inmassage upwards squeezing and pushing and plop, the top slips into place. No sore or split fingers or bruised ribs. Result ! I did swear once though in my excitement at this success that I forgot where I was and bashed my head on exiting from beneathdashboard. My wife tells me that the word I used is not spelt o u c h. But, hey, I''vesome super pedals. Thanks MX5parts for being so good at what you do. I'll be back !
