Made from neoprene and Genuine Mazda, the camshaft cover gasket deteriorates with age, becoming too hard to effectively seal the cover. “Having had a cambelt change with a non genuine gasket it wasn't long before oil started leaking from the cam cover and this was only fixed by using this genuine one which was far superior. Better quality and much thicker than the non-genuine gasket - don't be tempted to go for lesser quality on this part.”
