Made from neoprene and Genuine Mazda, the camshaft cover gasket deteriorates with age, becoming too hard to effectively seal the cover. “Absolutely perfect - fitted this to my car after initially buying the pattern part by Carlos Reinz which allowed a slight weep of oil. The genuine Mazda gasket has been 100% , the outside of the engine block is bone dry after several months. Definitely worth the extra outlay.”

“Bought for 96 eunos 1.8. Fits perfect. Easy to fit with no experience required. Used with instant gasket sealant on the vertical corners. Stopped my leak, touch wood. I suspect the car was previously fitted with the an aftermarket gasket a few months before I bought it. Once this was removed you can easily see the difference. And it's worth the extra pennies for the genuine mazda.”

“Fast delivery. Easy to fit: just follow the instructions in the Workshop Manual (You have got one, haven't you!?). Someone had fitted a non-genuine part to my car in the past, and it leaked like the clappers. The spark plug wells were full of oil! Now it's clean as a whistle. Do a job properly, do it once.”

“Very happy with this. I recently had the gasket replaced by my local garage, they didn't use a genuine part and the gasket leaked. I ordered this gasket from mx5parts and fitted it myself, no more leaks!The gasket was clearly more robust and of better quality than the one the garage fitted. Very happy.”
