“It's been quite a while since I purchased this, but wasn't quite ready to start it. Then decided to do L2B so had the perfect plan to achieve this! Only got to week 8 before went on holiday for 2 weeks and then came back to do the L2B......nailed it! All 3 hills.....sorted! Can't say they were easy but no walking and maintained a good pace all the way round. )
Looking forward to starting it again next year as training for K2N (Kilimanjaro to Natron) in May 2021 and will need to be really fit for that.
It's helped my general riding, and the weight training has really helped my upper body and therefore confidence on the bike. Looking forward to shredding some trials fiver the winter months now!!”
“I'm just starting the 12 week program. Only my 3th day! But I already can see the difference with my previous self made program. I used to do weights and so on, but not as focused as this program. I'm riding at least 5 times a week, but wasn't improving enough. Now, I can feel that I'm gonna gain a lot. It's a lot of work, but it's ok, I was already was doing a lot. Now, I'm gonna work as hard (well, maybe harder...), but with greater efficiency.”
“I’m one week into this and excited to see where I’m at in 11 weeks! I can’t believe I haven’t already been doing intervals!
I think it’s great that Matt responds to my questions!
I love the podcast and I’m cleaning up my diet as well. For me, diet is the hardest to work on but committing to a 12 week program has already helped. Last night my was cheat day, I had already had a cookie, then went for pasta and beer (the group’s choice). Rather than pack on the carbs and calories, I let myself have small portions and then said no to another beer at the after party. I’m feeling pretty satisfied about that today. Now Sunday, I am planning the week ahead and finding areas to replace veggies for the bad carbohydrates.”
