About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

This is so handy and I wished I had something like this much earlier. It’s collapsible into a small disc that you can pop in your handbag. When using public toilets it’s a pain to freshen up but this really helps. Fill it up with water and with the lid you can give it a shake and it feels so much nicer. Then with the lid back on, you can collapse it and pop it back in your handbag to wash out properly when you get back home. I like how this container has an extended base for standing up, and you can use this to sterilise your cup too. I wouldn’t use it for storing your cup as it’s best to keep this in something breathable. I even use this with a disc too so can be used with most cup sizes. Would recommend for home and travel.

This is such a super idea for being able to quickly and efficiently sterilise your menstrual cup without having to faff about heating up water in a saucepan or such like. I did have something similar from another brand but it was far too small and it would make a terrible mess when I tried to use it in the microwave. This cleaning cup is of a decent enough size and I really like the ability to be able to fold it back down when not in use, so it doesn’t take up much space at all. It feels like a high quality and durable product.

This is a really useful item for anyone who uses a cup or disk. It’s a collapsible cup with lid made from silicone that folds down flat and is perfect for being able to wash or sterilise your cup while out and about.I specifically chose it for travel, when it’s often a little tricky to wash and use my mooncup due to lack of facilities.I’ve just tried out the microwave method which worked really well! I have been using a pan and boiling my cup until now, but I think I am converted - it’s so much more hygenic to use this going forward.I think this offers great value for money, considering how re-usable it is.

I used this yesterday to clean my menstrual cup. The menstrual cup fits perfectly in this, and it cleaned perfectly in the microwave. The cup isn’t large and folds away so is perfect to take anywhere with you. It’s very handy to have in your handbag. Great!!

This is a really great little cleaning tool and has many ways it can be usedm I’m not a fan of the microwave method as it can smell. But I use a cleaning steriliser which goes nicely in here. Also on the public toilets where you can’t really nip out wash and pop back in the loo, it’s great, I just put some water in before using the toilet then place the cup in and shake. When I’m not on my period it’s also going to come in handy for just storing it

I’ve been cleaning mine in a saucepan to date and feel weird about it being in a pot I cook food in. So this tool is perfect that now there is no cross contamination

Luckily my toilet at work has a sink within.Toilet and hands look like it’s a crime scene…but I like the way you cannot feel it.My tip is to pull out and have tissue ready. Tip out then wipe out with more tissue. Rinse out and your ready to go…You have got to be used to your body to use it…but after having kids it works better than tampons. Unlike tampons suction keeps it in place.Less infections and cheap to use! Don’t understand why it costs so much in the first place though!
