About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

A complete game changer. I can't believe it took me this long to make the switch! It feels so much more hygienic, my cramps have definitely reduced since using it, and it's better for the environment. I'm also saving money no longer having to buy tampons!

I switched from tampons to a Mooncup about 6 months ago and it was the best move I've ever made. I hate all the packaging and waste produced by tampons, always found them uncomfortable and expensive but the Mooncup solves all these issues. It's really easy to use and I don't know it's there. I would HIGLY recommend a Mooncup to everyone!

I have been using a moon cup for 5 years now I’m 45 and it’s completely revolutionised how my periods are in relation to my life. They are so easy to use, so convenient as you don’t have to carry anything with you - when you’ve got your period you’ve always got a mooncup with you. Even in pubs with no sinks in the toilet I manage to remove, empty, reinsert and carry on with my night without too much hassle. Ok it’s a bit messy sometimes but I have really heavy periods. I love the fact that I can go swimming and not worry about it at all - and the most I have ever had are small leaks but nothing noticeable and perfectly manageable. I have a daughter and if I can save her years of horrible (expensive) tampon use then I will be really happy - I am 100% a huge fan of mooncups and would recommend to everyone. My one piece of advice would be it can take a few cycles to get used to them so persevere- you will be so glad you did!

Wanted to try mooncup as I tend to get irritation from tampons. I was concerned when 1st using, but even overnight it didn’t leak or feel uncomfortable once inserted. The only negative I have is that it is slightly uncomfortable push in, so I will order a smaller size to see if that suits me better, overall really pleased I tried this and definitely converted,

I Struggled to use this product. I work long shifts and didn’t get on well with the process of using this especially at work. No

Hi Kerrie, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re sorry to hear you found it difficult to use your Mooncup menstrual cup and so haven’t continued using it. We can understand this being disappointing. If you wanted to explore this further the best thing would be to get in touch directly with our friendly Advice Service, run by medical health professionals, at advice@mooncup.co.uk. They will be able to run through some questions with you to see why this may have been happening and from there can provide tailored support to help.
Goodbye granny pants! My mooncup is fantastic! No more trying to hide tampons and pads when I go to the loo. No more faff trying to stick pads onto pants. I feel dry and fresh all day and its so discreet, my husband didn't even know I was on my period, no more tell tale signs in the bin. Less waste, makes me feel like I'm reducing waste and doing my bit for the environment.

Hi! I bought this after being recommended it by some midwives where I work. I work for the NHS and there was an NHS discount at the time which was incentive to choose the Mooncup. I was apprehensive but open minded about trying a menstrual cup for the first time. Four cycles later I can honestly say it’s changed the way I view being on my period. It’s cleaner as I don’t have to look at and change sanitary pads filled with dried blood. It’s more comfortable as I don’t feel it. I even made a video on it on my YouTube page to answer questions and help people with using it, search Tej Dhutia ‘The truth about the Menstrual Cup’ on YouTube. I’d highly recommend the Mooncup!
