About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

I found the mooncup a liberating change from more traditional sanitary products. It was really interesting and informative to see how much blood was collected on a light day verses a heavy day. It made me feel a lot more knowledgeable about my own body and cycle. The cup itself took a little practise to insert. I also found that it worked it’s way quite high up. After a little practise, I can remove it quite easily each time I attempt to. Initially I had a few near panic attacks at the thought of having to have it removed. I also carelessly removed it once covering my bathroom floor in its contents. However as I say, with a little practise all is good and I would definitely recommend. I’m never returning to the previous methods.

I will never ever again use anything but this cup. It's taken me years to get here but I'm so glad I have gotten here. It's easy to use and so comfortable. Peace of mind for my body and the planet.

I have been using the Mooncup for around 12 years and it has been liberating! Great capacity, no leaks, no liners needed, and so great to be able to swim, ride etc with no drama. It is the perfect shape for my body. I did take a break to try a local Australian brand, and it never fit right, would leak, tilt, and slide out during more intense cramps. Lots of embarrassing moments! So I’ve come back to the MoonCup again, and it’s perfection. Every body is different! If one cup doesn’t work for you, don’t despair! There are lots of shapes. Once you find your fit you will be set for life!

I absolutely love using my mooncup and will never go back to using other period products. It took some getting used to and quite a bit of practice to insert it and retrieve it with ease and comfort, but well worth it in the end. I purchased size A because I’m over 30, though I think a size B might have been better.

Absolutely amazing! How have I not tried this earlier. Comfy, clean and so easy to use!

Very easy to use and love the little bag that comes within. Only “but” is that I choose the bigger size as I’m over 30 (even though no birth) and it’s slightly bigger than my previous one, so sometimes I feel it and it’s a bit more difficult to position it in the right way at the first attempt. Still I recommend it 100% before disposable sanitary items.

Took me a bit of getting used to, especially with inserting and removing it. Once I’d trimmed the tip it was much more comfortable and now I don’t feel it at all when it’s in. Definitely a Mooncup convert, only wish I’d tried it sooner!

I absolutely love it! What a life changer. It really allows you to know how much blood you are losing, and guage your period so well. It gives you a great understanding and closeness to your cycle. Took a few tries to get used to putting it in and pulling it out, but now have it down. Good for people who are happy to be familiar with themselves. I won't ever go back to tampons unless at a festival maybe, where its hard to wash it.
