About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

An environmental game changer. I'm annoyed I didn't use one before and that these are so rarely used. Already saving money on tampons and single use rubbish. So easy to use and can keep it far longer than a tampon. If you love the environment switch to the cup. These could also be given out at school go end period poverty.

This is my third cycle using the Mooncup and I’m really pleased I gave it a try. It did take some getting used to but with a little practise it’s really easy to use. They’re really comfortable. Previously I used pads as I didn’t like tampons (they seemed to make my period pains worse) but the Mooncup is comfortable and much cleaner than pads. Definitely worth a try if you’re curious.

This is my second moon cup. I’ve had my old one 15 years!!! There’s nothing wrong with the old one I just wanted a spare for my hand bag. That’s about 180 periods, that’s cost about 5p a month and god knows what the environmental impact has been and will be.

Comfortable but always leaks, has to be changed every 10 minutes. Definitely not worth the money.

Comfortable-so much so I can forget I’m wearing it. It’s also really easy to use & clean. Lovely to not be reliant on disposable sanitaryware any more!

It's no exaggeration whatsoever to say Mooncup has totally changed my relationship with my body and my periods. I have a super heavy flow that I found really, really stressful, and Mooncup has made it so much easier to manage. I still haven't quite perfected so that there are no leaks whatsoever, so I wear with re-usable period pants just in case. You get the knack of using it after a couple of cycles too, and I find it much more comfortable to put in and take out than a tampon. I feel empowered and confident and more in tune with my body, and no longer dread my period. Can't recommend enough.

I was not impressed by the Mooncup. I feel that there should be more than two sizes. I am am 45 with no children so I bought the larger of the two sizes based on the guidance on the Mooncup site. I was unable to fit the Mooncup inside despite folding the silicon cup to the smallest size possible. I am reluctant to buy the smaller size in case it does not fit and I waste another £20+.

3rd month if using this and it just isn’t working for me. It sits too low and the stick part chafes so much it’s so sore and uncomfortable in spite of me cutting it right down. It’s leaked so many time’s as well. I really wanted it to work but it’s just not for me.
