“After years of using tampons I wanted to move to a more sustainable product and after some research decided on the mooncup. I’m very pleased with the product, after a few times of using its easy to insert and remove and I realised that the small level of discomfort I was feeling could be fixed by cutting off the end of the stalk, so now I can’t feel it at all. Really love the product and it’s positive impact on waste. So pleased that I made the decision to move to the mooncup.”

This should not be happening and we would recommend that you stop using the Mooncup® (though it sounds like you already have). “Whilst I can see why this is great for some, it just doesn't work for me. It's not uncomfortable, but I know it's there, unlike tampons. I have such heavy periods that changing it is very messy and I still needed additional sanitary ware. I also can not see how I would change this at work, especially with how heavy mine are. I struggle to remove it after sleeping as it moves right up inside me. I've now moved on to period underwear and it's much better for me. It's just down to personal preference.”

“I am astounded as to how good the moon cup is and I wish I had made the switch years ago. So much more comfortable and portable that “traditional” sanitary products. The money that I will save will be phenomenal plus the difference it’s making to the environment one less pad/tampon at a time.”
