About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

Absolutely revolutionary! So comfortable and saves all the drama of having to run out and buy tampons at the last minute. I’m trying to convert all my friends.

This has been a godsend. Easy to use and saves a fortune on sanitary products. Wish I'd known about it years ago!

First time user but it was easy and I won’t look back.

I want to love it 100% but when my period is heavy it does seem to leak through, despite not letting the cup over fill. I've looked up all the tips so im not sure it's the right size ☹ I do love that I don't need to use any plastic products! I just always need to empty the cup when peeing which is a bit frustrating. 4* nonetheless x

The cup is efficient to control the flow but insertion and removal without spilling takes some practice. I also had UTI symptoms the last couple of times I used it, even after making sure it is cleaned after used with soap.

I'd been thinking about switching to the mooncup for a while but my main concern was using it in public toilets. When lockdown hit and I was stuck at home I thought what better time to give it a try. It took me a little while to get the positioning right but with a bit of patience and perseverance it's now really comfortable and I barely feel it. I did have a couple of questions/worries at first but the mooncup advice team were fantastic at responding to my messages quickly and with lots of helpful tips. I don't think I'll ever go back to pads now!
