“Good product although requires heavy sanitising with antibacterial/disinfectant (medical grade) regularly.”

“I found this really difficult to get in and out. There was some abrasion and I was quite sore and irritated where it had been rubbing during the day and also on insertion/removal. So I've used it for one period and haven't dared to try it again. Possibly i got one that was a little too big, but I followed the size guide on the website. It's not something easy to try and not possible to sell on or send back, so it's just sitting in my bathroom cupboard and I'm back on the tampons.”

“I’ve been waiting months to try this after waiting two years for my periods to return after the birth of my son! The day finally came and it’s the first time I’ve been excited to see my period - i’d watched an instructional video on the internet about how to insert and had no problems whatsoever. Again removing was a lot easier than i had anticipated. Once I’d cut the stem to the correct length for me I actually kept forgetting i was actually on my period - so comfy, convenient, and good for the environment. I really do wish i had found this method earlier, but as they say better late than never!”

“I have been a happy Mooncup user for around 8 years. I bought the B size one many years ago and it has lasted all this time. I am 34 now and went for the A as recommended--honestly, the other one still works, but was starting to get a bit worn out so I went for this one and now I have the smaller one as a backup or to use near the end of my cycle. These have completely changed my life! More eco-friendly, saves me so much money, and lasts all day so no need for awkward changing other sanitary products, which is handy as I travel frequently. As a bonus, my cramps got a little less intense when I switched to this! I think the soft flexible nature of them is gentler on your body than swelling cotton. Whatever the reason, I love my Mooncup and have no plans to use anything else for the rest of my menstruating years.”

“I was really keen to switch to a more sustainable way of managing my periods and the moon cup was the obvious answer. Unlike other methods it's so simple, a one off cost and it makes me feel great knowing it's better for me and the environment! It took me one or two cycles to get truly confident in using it, but I think that's normal. I still get a bit excited when that time of the month comes as i like to get it out, no waste, no spending on tampons, don't need to take anything with me, just immediately period ready. I just wish I made the switch earlier. I tell all my female friends! Thank you moon cup.”

“Thought this would be the answer as hate tampons and at first I was impressed but as soon I went out and walked out it slipped down which was uncomfortable and painful. I tried reinserting many many times but each time it slips so given up. Maybe because I have had 3 children?”
