About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

Found it easy to insert, but really difficult to remove. It's not for everyone. I'm over 30, not had children. But I couldn't get a finger in to release the seal. Which I found very distressing and ended up really sore, so I won't be using it again. Just not built for it!

I would use anything else! I love my moon cup!

I was really unsure if the moon up would be for me but I have been pleasantly surprised. I cut down the stem slightly but think that was a rookie mistake as it can move a bit during the night. I would now only ever use my moon cup. I have a very heavy flow and this has not leaked at all.

I am using Mooncup for over 10 years and I also tried other brands but Mooncup for me is the BEST. I feel really comfortable with it and can only recommend it to any woman. It makes your period better and it makes our planet better.

I originally used the size B, but after two vaginal births it was time to size up as the other one was occasionally leaking a bit. No leaks with the new size. Love that I don’t have to wear pads at all anymore. Emptying it can be awkward as I do get blood on my hands, but I usually change mine in a bathroom with a sink next to the toilet so that makes it easy. I can go the full 8 hours at work without changing it so that’s more convenient than having to change a pad while at work. I just empty the cup at home before and after work.

After years of using tampons I wanted to move to a more sustainable product and after some research decided on the mooncup. I’m very pleased with the product, after a few times of using its easy to insert and remove and I realised that the small level of discomfort I was feeling could be fixed by cutting off the end of the stalk, so now I can’t feel it at all. Really love the product and it’s positive impact on waste. So pleased that I made the decision to move to the mooncup.

Have used a mooncup for 13 years and never looked back. Just of all the sanitary products I haven’t used and thrown away.... and all the money I’ve saved.

This really didn't work for me. I would feel sick and queezy whilst wearing it.
