Found through Money Saving Expert. Easy to arrange. Thankfully did not need to claim so can't comment on claims service. Cheaper than arranging through car hire company.

If you had to claim how happy were you with the way it was handled?
They don't pay out. Huge form to claim, took hours. Provided scanned documents, damage photos, car hire print-out of broken window & payment receipt. Avoid.

Very good price, levels of cover look good. Didn’t have to make a claim, so don’t know how that part of process would go

The insurance is much cheaper than taking out the hire company option at the desk. It was easy to arrange online and download the documents. I didn't have to make a claim.

If you had to claim how happy were you with the way it was handled?
The buying process is straight forward and Leisure Guard offers premiums a bit cheaper than similar companies. But that seems to come at a cost if you are unfortunate enough to having to claim like happened to me. The portal they use to file the claim is obsolete and not very user friendly. If you need help with that and you call the helpline you'll be on hold for quite a while. They would ask you to upload your evidence and then they take quite a few weeks to respond each time so unfortunately the claim drags on for a long time before they finally settled it. In my case it took about two months compared to other similar companies who would settle within a couple of weeks. Won't definitely use again!

The insurance plan is good. But it took a long time for claim processing.

The policy i bought covered everything I thought might be required, and the price was very inexpensive. I didn't need to claim, so I can't comment on the claims handling, but the quotation and policy documents were all supplied quickly and efficiently.
