“Excess insurance was easy to organise. Unfortunately, I had a incident when parked which resulted in my making a claim - a first for me. I think the car hire company valuation of the damage was excessive - especially as they were very unlikely to actually rectify the damage - but that seems to be common practice and accepted by insurance companies. My claim was dealt with professionally. It was checked thoroughly to ensure there was no fraud involved: that is a good thing. However, this did not delay repayment of my claim unduly.”
