“We have used car hire excess insurance a number of times and paid a small fraction of the cost that car hire firm charge. So far we have not had to claim but it s good to have the peace of mind should we need to. I think services like CHEW will eventually lead to a change of practice in the car hie industry as the realisation that their high cost option is being declined in favour of 3rd party insurers.”

“I make a number of trips abroad every year and regularly use hire cars. It has been far simpler and cheaper to take out an annual excess insurance policy with CHEW than take out the policy with each different car hire company each time.”
