“Much better value than the excess cover offered by car hire companies - having had to rely on this once before, I always get excess cover now - for a low price you don't have to worry when driving a car you are not used to. Carhireexcess seem to offer good value, and on the once occasion I did need it paid up without a problem.”

If you had to claim how happy were you with the way it was handled?

“Happily we did not have to resort to a claim but it was simple to sign up costing quite a few £S for seven nights away. It was necessary in this dog eat dog worl of car rental rip off. We hired a car from Eurocar which worked well receiving excellent professional and service with integrity! (for once!)”

“Easy to use website. Took out insurance to cover our car hire in Croatia. Massive savings compared with the insurance offered by the car hire provider. Unfortunately we weren't able to travel but received a full refund.”
