“Easy to buy online. Was reasonably clear on the cover provided in the documents after it was bought. Bought worldwide cover for a few days cover and price was very competitive. Haven't had to claim, so can't comment on that.”

“I bought this insurance before hiring a car in Australia where the excesses and costs are frightening. I've been hiring cars for 40 years and never had a claim so i didn't expect to need this insurance, i took it out purely because the Australian system is so crazy and it's a good job i did as it turned out. I ended up with a claim for several hundred ASD. The claim procedure with bettersafe is quite long winded and involves scanning and emailing a lot of docs and full credit card statements. They only seem to move the claim forward when you pester them but in the end they did pay out in full which for an insurance company is pretty amazing.”
