I haven’t sampled it as my wedding isn’t for another two months, but appearance wise it is absolutely gorgeous!
Having read some previous reviews saying the cake was smaller than expected I wondered what to expect, but as I took it out of the packaging it felt reassuringly substantial and big enough to be cut into forty portions as advised
Useful information included about the best way to cut the cake, and use by date which was five months from delivery.

Hi Harriett. Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you were disappointed with the cake. We make very small batches of these two tier fully iced cakes...perhaps 5-10 in a batch and they are not stored for any long periods of time. We have done extensive shelf tests on these both in house and with a food lab and still err on the cautious side with our generous Best Before dates. We include cutting instructions with all wedding cakes as the high nut/vine fruit content can make it tricky to cut cleanly.
