“We were really looking forward to tasting this after great reviews in the newspapers . We moved house in December and due to everything being in storage for a few months I was unable to make my own cake as usual . We felt this should be a worthy alternative . How disappointing. Plenty of fruit but a very , very stodgy , wet yet crumbly cake that frankly we can only eat as a pudding with custard!
Sufficient marzipan layer and fondant icing.
Sadly, I wouldn’t buy again . This was an expensive disappointment.”
