### What is Xailin Gel?
Xailin Gel is a multi-dose eye gel used for the treatment of dry eye symptoms such as soreness, irritation, and dryness. It contains carbomer 0.2% w/w, sodium perborate, and excipients, and is designed to provide cooling and soothing relief while minimizing irritation.
### How do carbomer gels work?
Carbomer eye gels are used to relieve eye dryness and soreness. The gel produces a fine transparent film on your eye. This protects, soothes and lubricates the surface of your eye and makes it feel more comfortable.
### When should Xailin Gel be used?
Xailin Gel should be used to hydrate and protect the eye in conditions that cause dry eye sensations, such as a result of ocular surface disorders. It can be used two to four times a day as needed or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. It is not recommended for use in children, and contact lenses should be removed prior to use.
