It’s good at expelling the fat from your body. If taken correctly it does have the desired effect.

I've lost 23 pounds in 10 weeks whilst taking Orlistat. I make sure I don't go over 50 grams of fat per day and try and eat as much protein as I can. So far so good.

I’ve tried for 4 years to lose instead of maintain, and this makes the difference.

At first worked well but over time it slows dramatically having only lost roughly a pound in a month think I may need to try something else as I've changed my eating habits and exercising more but finding the last stone and a half a real struggle

This is a gradual but very effective way of losing weight for me as I've managed to lose one stone in 6 weeks. I chose Orlistat tablet treatment over Wegovin injections as I'd sooner use a fat burning method while eating normal meals than trying to shed weight through appetite reduction. Orlistat has one main side effect that you learn to cope with - any fat in the food you in the food you consume flushes out of your system in your stools, so it becomes a very wet & oily process whenever you need to go, requiring more loo paper than usual. I'd sooner tolerate that than feeling unnaturally hungry & vomiting, losing essential minerals and vitamins in the process. With the Orlistat course you can take replacement vitamin & mineral tablets alongside the tablets. The daily recommended dose is one tablet with every meal 3 times a day, although I'm getting along fine some days with just one or two tablets, especially if one of the so called meals is only a snack that contains little fat, usually at lunchtime.

the only downside was diahrea to start with so I reduced it to 2 a day whilst my body got used to it. I lost nearly a stone in the 1st month. I dont cope well with hot weather so reduced it to once a day during the heatwavve so have only lost a couple of pounds in the 2nd month but am hopeful I will lose more when weather is cooler. Overall I am very pleased with Olrlistat and have reccomended it to others.
