There are a lot of different shapes of beaters and most bodhrán players have a variety of beaters at their disposal. The type you use is all down to personal preference. “I love the tipper the weight length are perfect for faster speeds HOWEVER make sure you sand and burnish the ends until they are rounded off completely before using it on your drum. I wouldn’t dream of using it on my drums unless I did that first.”
