The Celtic Ravens Screen Printed Bodhrán

Celtic tradition associated the Raven with numerous figures including the goddess Morrígan, Bran the Blesses and the sun god Lugh.

Throughout the Celtic regions the Raven represented war and death as well as magical and prophetic abilities. It was a Raven that landed on Cúchulainn's shoulder to signify his death after his battle with Ferdia.
This is a great quality 12" bodhrán which features a very attractive screen-printed Celtic design and is made by McNeela Music.

“Amazing! Great starting drum, including learning DVD! Paint is holding up well even after beginning use, only negative comment would be that the tuning seems very 'tin-y'. If half stars were avail, definitely a 4.5/5! Can't wait to try out other products too!”

“Beautiful! The bodhran for me has always been a unique instrument. Yes, it is smaller than most of the other instruments, but it has personality and lovely sound and your Celtic Raven is that!! My grand-girl loved it and I thank you. I will be ordering the Brunswick folk guitar for her next week”

“New drum for a new drummer This is such a lovely drum and my husband who is a 7 time Grammy nominee world percussionist (Will Clipman) said it had a really great sound. That made me feel good as I am only learning to play this instrument as I love the sound and music where a bodhran is played.”

“I really like the bodhran and its raven design It was a little smaller than expected , across its surface , but the fact it came with its own beater stick and tuition DVD made up for that . I'm a beginner and I think it's suitable for that . It was packed up extremely well also . Thanks very much for your service .”
