The Celtic Ravens Screen Printed Bodhrán

Celtic tradition associated the Raven with numerous figures including the goddess Morrígan, Bran the Blesses and the sun god Lugh.

Throughout the Celtic regions the Raven represented war and death as well as magical and prophetic abilities. It was a Raven that landed on Cúchulainn's shoulder to signify his death after his battle with Ferdia.
This is a great quality 12" bodhrán which features a very attractive screen-printed Celtic design and is made by McNeela Music.

“Nice quality, print will get scratched when used as a drum. Thus staining of the unprinted areas with the paint from the print motif.”

Hi Carsten, all our Celtic bodhráns are screen printed by hand, glad you appreciate the quality. You shouldn't see any staining on the unprinted areas so you can play away without worry.

“Beautiful Bodhran I bought my husband a Celtic Raven Bodhran for Christmas. While he has yet to receive it, it has a beautiful raven design and of course sounds great, too. No issues at all with shipping from Ireland to the US. Now for him to play it!”

“I bought it for my cousin, who was a drummer in a band for many years. The band dissolves about 3 years ago. His wife assured me that he would definitely be able to play and enjoy a bodhran. I can't wait to give it to him at Christmas!”
