The Celtic hounds were a breed of dogs in Gaelic Ireland described in Irish legend. Celtic Hounds can be found in Celtic jewellery designs and paintings as far back as the 17th century. Celtic Hounds symbolise hunting, healing, and the Otherworld in Celtic legends. Hounds were the traditional guardian animals of roads and crossways and are believed to protect and guide the lost souls of the Otherworld.
This is a great quality 12" Celtic bodhrán which features a very attractive screen printed Celtic design and is made by McNeela Music. A wonderful Irish bodhrán.

“It is Here! It was a long time, but not the fault of McNeela Music. Customs, here and there. The instrument arrived in fine condition considering the packing box had many bangs and dents. Had to be open by Customs, checked and repackaged in original packing box. Wrapped in fine bubble wrap sever times ove and securely taped and new addres label and customs check label adhered. All in all everything arrived in wondrful condition.”

“The Bodhran was bought for my dads 80th birthday.He was absolutely delighted with it. The quality is superb and the celtic design is beautiful and vibrant. Thanks so much for getting it shipped out to me so quickly and in time for his birthday.
