The Celt 2 Banjo is a 4-string tenor banjo (19 Fret) made by McNeela Instruments. It's a closed back 24 bracket banjo with excellent traditional tone.

“McNeela Banjo Finds New Home in Canada Notwithstanding world supply chain issues and postal delays, I did not have to wait long for my new 19-fret McNeela Celt Banjo to arrive in Ontario, Canada. The good folks at McNeela did an amazing job of padding and wrapping the instrument for the transatlantic voyage and the banjo arrived intact and ready to play. “I bought this banjo for a celtic punk album I was recording last year. Sounds fantastic. Keeps tune well and once you adjust the bridge so that intonation is ok. It plays well all up the neck. You can listen to it here..https://music.apple.com/ie/album/myths-yarns/1587102883”

“Great banjo for the money! The banjo arrived in EXCELLENT condition and exactly at the anticipated time. It is a great product and entirely worth the money. Had a couple of hiccups with the ordering process, but a couple of emails resolved all the issues. These are great folks to do business with and I LOVE learning to play this banjo. Thank you!”

“Fun to Play This an ok banjo for the money. If you are on a budget as I was, it was fine. Had to adjust the bridge for intonation which helped with tuning Did not come with a gig bag but the customer service was prompt to answer any questions I had before and after purchase. If you want a decent banjo for a decent price, then this will work. Just don’t expect it to be more than you paid for.”

“Good Banjo once I gave it some TLC The banjo came delivered with a broken E string. That was unfortunate because it was shipped from Ireland to Chicago and the delivery took longer than expected. I contacted Aaron in customer service and he apologized for the broken string and directed me to replacement strings on their site. I ordered a few sets just in case. Not the cheapest strings but not the most expensive either. I was going to get strings from the store nearest to me in Chicago but no one carries the specific size of guages in a set needed to fit on my banjo. I had to wait a week or so longer to get my strings and now have my banjo all set up. The strings that I got were way better than the ones they originally put on the banjo. The neck was really dry and had to lemon oil it to get it up to standards. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the instrument itself and this review would be 5 stars had the instrument been in better condition when I received it.”
