The pack includes:
1 x 16" (depth approx. 4") plywood rim - unstained and unvarnished.
Cross bar
1 x 20" top quality goatskin.
1 x beater.
Webbing 56" long.
12 studs.
Elastic band.
Written Instruction Sheet.

We also highly recommend adding to cart our new bodhrán cream, DrumDiddly, as a luxurious finishing touch for the goatskin. This cream contains beeswax and lanolin and guarantees to deepen the bass tone on the bodhrán and extend the life of the skin.

“the T bar is screwed in position and also must be glued as I wanted to reposition it having fat arms .For me it need to be more towards the rim . Very nice experience building this lovely deep tone .”

“My grandgirl recorded me building it (we posted that here: https://youtu.be/qQwbL2kmcr0) - mistakes and all. Had to sort out what glue to buy in the U.S., but what a great way to spend a weekend. We had a fantastic time and I have a drum i just love and will treasure. Now the younger grand want's one too! Can't recommend enough!”

“I love the idea of D.I.Y. Bodhran Kit! Every element is well prepared and easy to put to together. However, I thought the skin was a little short, like 16 inches for a 14 inches drum, that didn’t give me a big play to adjust/center it. I felt I had to stretch it little bit to make it fit around the frame, I then ended-up with a higher pitch than i expected. Other than that, I am very pleased with the quality”
