“No case! My D tin whistle Tony Dixon has a GREAT ratcheting, hard plastic case. You don't even offer one. I've resorted to lshop two hours away for cordura one I pray will fit when it's arrived. Also, with ALL my strength I cannot now remove the black plastic mouthpiece either to tune or clean it. Is that intentional? I did contact you via email about the case but not about the mouthpiece issue.”

Hi Linda, no we don't unfortunately have a case for that size whistle. As for the head, the metal is probably slightly swollen, to loosen the head dip it into hot water that has been boiled for about 30 to 60 seconds, carefully remove and twist with a cloth.
