“if you are looking for a whistle that is not too much of a stretch to play comfortably, but still sounds low similar to a low d, this alto g tuneable tony Dixon whistle is a must, fits perfectly under my finger, sounds fantastic too, ooh and grab the b flat next, amazing whistles”

“It is pretty nice to play. It has a good sound, easy to cover no fingering problems, ( lady with normal hands) light weight and a very good instrument for a beginner. Very fine and fast service, well wrapped up, a great product which I highly recommend.”

“Just received my low G whistle and what a whistle it is. Very light, beautifully in tune and the finger hole spacing is perfection. After trying lots of different whistle’s I’ve finally found the one that suits me, I want more Tony Dixon whistles”

“Lower octave is very nice…….mellow and not much air required, however the upper octave seems to require a lot of air with a very loud result. A big plus is the reduced finger spread. The lower two holes are closer together than most other G’s making it quite easy to play without piper’s grip.”
