Tony Dixon Manufacturing has pleasure in introducing the redesigned and improved Tuneable C Whistle with an aluminium body. The DX006 "C" incorporates the internal tuning slide on an aluminium bodied high C. The ABS head tunes on a solid nickel slide, fixed in the aluminium body, resulting in a solid, bright tone; an exciting addition to the Dixon family of whistles.

“Greetings from County Mayo. My husband just recently purchased a Tuneable C Aluminium Whistle (DX006C) by Tony Dixon for me. . I had lost my C whistle I have been using for 35 years. He knows I've been getting as many Tony Dixon whistles as I can. Replacing older cheaper whistles. I am very satisfied with my C aluminium whistle. It plays beautifully and clear as all Tony Dixon whistles. I recieved it quickly! Thank you! When it came in the Post, my family knew they wouldn't see me for a few hours trying out the new whistle. I have been very satisfied with your service over the years. The first whistle I purchased through ye is a Tony Dixon alto A natural brass whistle. It is my favourite because of the lovely low clear resonating tone. A joy to listen to. And the patina of the brass as it ages and changes colour is gorgeous. But I cannot find it being sold any more. Did Tony Dixon stop making it? They shouldn't stop. It is a beautiful sounding whistle. My favourite of my low whistles. It is not tuneable, but IT IS IN TUNE. Quite beautiful. Thank you. I have several Tony Dixon whistles, all aluminium accept the low A. My next to get is a low F. I hope he makes them. “I first purchased a Killarney high D. I am a rank beginner. I love the music it makes. Since I mainly practice Irish tunes, I found that some song cried for a C whistle. I am retired and love both whistles. The best thing about the whistles is that the fingering is the same no matter which whistle I use for whichever song. This make it easy to play either. MUSIC FEEDS THE SOUL. The tin whistle is easy to carry and a lot of fun. With whistle tab you can be playing in 5 minutes without any previous musical experiences. I expect to add the tin whistle sound to our ukulele band during next week’s performance after only 6 weeks of practice. It is so easy to play and so much fun. Progress come quickly.
