Initial toots are pretty good! Will post again if any issues. Received on time to Pacific Northwest area and no grand issues other than it was delivered through the regular post and not to my door pickup was required on my part. So courier didn't exist. .....sorry life's busy.... need timeouts for reassessing and playing them.

This little whistle was far better than I anticipated. It almost plays as well as my wild Irish whistle, but is a bit quieter (and of course not tuneable). I like how light it is, and the smaller finger holes are probably great for a beginner (but let me be sloppy with my positioning). I got this thinking it would be a bit quieter for practicing, but I'm still happy with the purchase.

I already had a Waltons and a Clarke Sweetone high D when my wife decided to learn playing whistles. She didn't like the Clarke's holes and both of us the Waltons' sound. I have lower Dixon whistles, so I gave a chance to their cheep high D and bought 2 pieces for both of us. What a great whistle! Sweet tone and easy to play even for an absolute beginner. We prefer far better than the Waltons and slightly than the Sweetone. Absolutely worth the money. There was not any problem with the purchase and delivery, thank you

Great product its going to be great for backpacking. But it sounds more like a recorder than a whistle to me. And it truly struggles in the higher octave. But very happy with the product overall.
