“Second purchase from Marloe (1st a Spectre)
Delighted with quality and service again .
Brilliant value in the January Sale .
The Coniston has a very clear face in an unusual light blue/ grey shading .
Undecided on which strap to go for but pleased with the Hickory Brown.
Will probably end up buying a second at some
Stage as I did with my spectre.
I contacted Marloe to check available watch batch numbers and received a very quick response from Oliver .
Buy with confidence, great Company and great Product .”
“Elegantly simple and beautifully finished. I’d been admiring this watch for months and couldn’t resist the January sale price… I feel like I stole it!
The hardest decision was the strap. Reminiscent of the Gulf Oil livery of the 70s, I went for the Nato strap but I’m sure I’ll be back for more when funds allow.”
“A beautifully elegant but simple design. Very good finishing quality and accurate to between 1 to 2 minutes a week; more than acceptable at the price point… especially as I only paid the January sale price.
I intend to get a few more strap options when funds allow.
A great introduction to the Marloe brand.”
“Having previously purchased a Marloe coniston manual watch approx 3-4 yrs ago I was aware of the quality of build and refinement of the Marloe brand. This particular watch is again excellent design and finish and I feel at an affordable price (£249)”
“i like the design of the watch and ordered it with the trackday nato strap as the colours do look good and are reminisent of the gulf porsche livery but i have to say that i am not a big fan of nato straps, the watch is beautifuly packaged and there is space in the box for three additional straps so its a shame that they could not have included at least one basic strap as an alternative to the nato as being quite a light colour it is likly to get dirty and not look so good after a while and i would like to keep it aside for occasional wear to preserve it's condition as replacements will probably not be avaliable in the future, i did consider buying an additional Marloe strap to go with it but they seemed quite expensive and there was nothing that i felt matched the colours of the watch, if there had been a rubber/silicon strap with the same blue/orange stripe i would probably have chosen that or even a pale blue leather with a deployment clasp, as it is i have ordered a pale blue aftermarket textured silicon strap that will hopfully compliment the colour of the dial and has not cost me a fortune. i like the designs that Marloe have come out with and hope that they continue to go their own way, i also have an Eyre model in my collection and will doubtlessly keep an eye on their future designs and would not rule out buying additional watches in the future, i have been a watch collector and fan for many years and Marloe are at the bottom end of my price range when buying watches for my collection but due to their sense of design the quality of their build they stand up just as well on the wrist as models from the major high end brands.”
