“I’ve followed the Marloe brand for years but never quite seized the moment up until now. Lake Coniston is one of my favourite places so that was always going to be the one. I met a guy at Shelsley Walsh a couple of years ago who was promoting a Donald Campbell book, I think, and he was wearing one. He liked it and I thought it looked good too. So, when the box arrived, each layer revealed things of interest up to the crescendo of the watch itself. I attached the strap, put it on and have worn it since. I love it. “Love this watch, exactly as I pictured it. Works as it should, nice clear uncluttered display, easy to read the time.
Didn't like the Nato strap, but there are curved end silicone 20mm straps on Amazon which work well, but I did find this nice Gulf leather strap which works well, and allows visibility of the mechanism on the rear.
Overall, brill. Nice opening experience, excellent packaging. Great value for money, this will be my summer watch to go for.”
