Coniston - White Burnished Tan Leather Reviews

Really pleased with this watch. It sits very comfortably on the wrist and has a clean, white face with elegant proportions. My only gripe is that the strap doesn't suit the watch.. but that is easily changed.

My watch arrived on time as promised. It looked absolutely beautiful just as I hoped it would. Front and back are worth looking at and once wound up it keeps excellent time. This was brought as a replacement for a similar priced watch and is so much better than the other one.

Cons: Band is of lower quality than I had expected and hoped for. Not falling apart, you can just tell it is cheaper leather. Genuine at least. I am currently looking for a watch band as replacement, but I am very picky. Pros: I am now in love and partial to hand•wound watches.. I love waking up and setting this watch’s time accordingly, then cranking the crown to then watch the motor perpetuate in motion. It is an amazing feeling and you appreciate the craftsmanship of the watch and ..what a watch used to be. The sweeping second hand is a novel touch. The dial design is seriously unique and beautiful. AR coating adds a touch of character as well. Watch case and domed sapphire face are of high quality and add a lot of class to the piece. The staff. I reached out to Marloe with questions and requests through Instagram. They were quick to respond, excited about my questions, and willing to help make my purchase easier and well-accommodated. This brand / watch is awesome. Thank you.

Superb watch in every way, A shame about the watch strap which is too small and an XL strap is not an option!!

Just time — now at a glance, clean white but not boring, hand-wound yet truly modern. Here’s no retro as in routine 1960’s Danish minimalism (yawn), nor clones of Bauhaus station platform clocks. A rare comfort on a smallish wrist despite the big, quite present dial: good, as one has to give it some wrist time. It will grow on it: the design is bold enough to unsettle at first try. I could do without the seconds hand; that thin sweeper isn’t overly distracting but it doesn’t “hack”, while a glance at the case back suffices to check the ticking. The strap and tang are... adequate; I only wish they inherited some of the originality and attention to details of the case, dial, hands. Maybe as a later add-on?

A beautifully crafted manual wind watch at a reasonable price. I only wish the manual wind action was more solid. When I complete the action of manual winding, the crown seems to recoil a bit. I would have expected it to stay in place.
