“Its taken me a couple of months to write this review, as I wanted to give the bike a good run in to cover different terrains and longer distances….. So finally after about two years of umming and ahhhing about buying an ebike I started my search. Visited a few local dealers/stockist that turned out to be useless. The most important part of buying an ebike is being able to test ride the bike on the open road and not just a poodle around the showroom. Only one out of the 7 stores I visited actually let me take the bike out on the road to have a property test ride, this being 'Mark 2 cycles @ County E-Bikes in Andover. On arrival at the store 'John' was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter was with me and also looking for an ebike to commute to work. Kitted out on the X Cross Hybrid we were off. We were out testing these bikes for nearly 45 mins, on grass, track, road and up the biggest hills we could find, but to be honest I was sold with in the first 10 mins. By the time we got back to the shop it was closed but John still continued to assist us with absolutely no pressure for a sale. We purchased two X Cross Hybrids. Bikes were delivered by Phil to our door, with good communication leading up to delivery. I have been using my bike now for the last couple of months, it has completely changed my cycling experience. Approaching hills, panic attacks are a thing of the past! The battery life is excellent, covering at least 50 miles of assisted pedalling! I cannot recommend these guys enough. So if you are looking for specialists in the E Bike indusrty these are your guys! 5*****’s from me. Thank you John and Phil”

“Great bike! It’s nice to be able to cycle as far in my 60’s as I could in my 20’s. I’ve explored more local villages in the last few weeks than in the previous 20 years. I find that I am cycling at a constant 16 mph, with the electric assist kicking in on the hills. I like the simplicity of the bike; everything you need is there but nothing is added as a gimmick. I would add an option for more suspension, but that is maybe because I’m getting older and cycling at faster speeds than I would without the assist!”

“Bike arrived within 10 days, well packaged to prevent damage in transit. Took a short time to put handle bars and pedals on. A well made bike a quality product. Have done about 60 miles so far, I am very pleased with the bike, comfortable and easy to use. The assistance you get from the motor is just right, enough to help with the hilly bits, but not to much so you still get some exercise. A word of caution, I am 5’9 with a31” inside leg I can just manage to get my feet on the ground without the bar causing damage to the tender bits, so if you inside leg is less than 31” you might want to try the 450 or the Scrambler”

“I had only used it around our village but yesterday took it out for a ride along the cycle track near us. The track was far muddier and wet than I expected with some very soggy and challenging areas. The bike was great and performed well in the conditions. It is comfortable to ride and the screen easy to read. I love it.”
