What exactly did you use the above for? Architectural & Planning Purposes Site location plans for planning applications (usually at 1:1250 or 1:500 scale). Design proposals overlaid onto accurate base mapping. Feasibility studies to understand boundaries, access, and surrounding context. Supporting documents for building control, heritage, or environmental impact submissions.

“OS MasterMap is one of the most detailed and accurate digital mapping datasetsthat we have used. Produced by Ordnance Survey, it provides a comprehensive and up-to-date representation of the built and natural environment, down to individual building outlines, land parcels, and infrastructure features. For our Architectural practice it’s an invaluable resource — especially when preparing planning applications, site analysis, or overlaying design proposals. Its precision and layering system (Topography, Address, Transport, etc.) allow for seamless integration with CAD and GIS software, making it both practical and highly reliable. While access can be costly for some smaller practices, the level of detail and accuracy justifies the investment for projects that require dependable site data”

“The downloaded OS plan was not openable in ACAD nor could it be imported into Coreldraw. I requested a refund but so far no response.”

Dear Arnold, Thanks for your feedback — and sorry to hear about the trouble accessing the OS plan. Our CAD files are supplied in standard DWG format, which should be compatible with AutoCAD and most vector-based tools, though some versions of CorelDRAW may require conversion or specific import settings.
