“Great staff, helpful and friendly who tried to give people the best experience. I was expecting more of a VR experience, but it was mostly live-action. The actors were great.”
“This was a great afternoon out. The entire experience is fully immersive and the actors keep you really engaged. I recommend grabbing lunch just prior from their pub to get you into the swing of things. My only fault is the tricky VR system, however, when my young son (11 yrs) came out utterly fascinated by the history and having great conversations around the trickiness of the times… then I know it was worth the visit!”
“Reviews have been saying for months now that the VR headsets have glitches and yet they aren't fixing them. Our entire group had a moment when the experience stopped and reset. And all of us found the view blurry. They clearly don't sanitize the headsets in between groups because one of the ones I got about halfway into the experience had a broken headset, which obviously would have been fixed if the staff were checking and cleaning them. My friend's had lost sound on 1 side too. So they aren't even checking them at all for functionality. There's no one wearing masks or social distancing so we can only hope we left healthy.
The storytelling was a bit corney, likely best for young teens but for adults it was weak. I think the experience is highly overpriced for what you get. Drinks in the bar there were also very overpriced. If you've never done any kind of interactive experience like this then you may find it fun but otherwise you'll be underwhelmed.”
